What is the date and venue for the 7th annual iGaming IDOL Awards?

The 7th annual iGaming IDOL Awards will take place on 30th November 2023 at the InterContinental, Malta.
What is the program schedule for the event?

The event will start with a welcome drinks reception from 19:00 to 20:00 hours. This will be followed by a Gala Dinner and Awards at the Arena from 20:00 to midnight. The event will conclude with an after-party starting at midnight.
What is iGaming IDOL?
It is a award show created to recognize top talent in the iGaming industry in Malta. iGaming IDOL is built on three pillars:
- Recognition of individuals
- Charity
- Entertainment
What is the criteria to win a category?
In order to select a winner in each category, the judges will be looking for individuals who excel in the following 4 criteria, within the category chosen:
- Understands the theory of your area of expertise
- Understands the “big picture” and how your role/function adds value to the organisation
- Able to give examples of improvements within your area, which was initiated by you
- Have a general interest and up-to-date knowledge of the industry in general and hot topics within your area

How do you select a winner?
The process works as follows:
Step 1 – Nomination
- Judges review all awards and shortlist to a maximum of 10 individuals per category.
- The top 10 finalists per category will be published to igamingidol.com
Step 2 – Meet the Judges
- The top 10 finalists in each category will be invited to meet the judges in person.
- Each finalist will have 10 minutes to answer any questions the judges may have.
- Following this round, the judges will shortlist to the top 3 finalists per category.
Step 3 – The Awards
1. The top 5 in each category will be invited to the Awards.
2. The winner will be announced within each category.
Our difference from other award shows in the industry?
It is a unique award show in a number of ways:
- It’s the first award show in the iGaming industry to exclusively recognize individuals, not companies or projects, which is open to all genders and with its categories covering almost all parts of a typical online gaming operation.
- It’s the first award show in the industry, were nominees will have to prove themselves in front of a of judges.
- iGaming IDOL nomination and judging process is audited by a 3rd party (BDO Malta) to ensure highest level of integrity
How is the judging process conducted?

The judging is done fully by selected judges in each category, under the supervision of an Audit Partner. If a judge is too closely connected with a nominee, they will not be allowed to participate in the voting process for that particular nominee.
Is charity involvement a part of iGaming IDOL?

Yes, charity is one of the pillars of iGaming IDOL. For the 2023 show, iGaming IDOL will be ing the MSPCA Organisation.
